Stevens EV® Roofing Membrane

Premium Elvaloy® PVC Membrane
Stevens EV® is a high performance PVC membrane based on DuPont's Elvaloy® HP polymer.  Elvaloy® HP is a high molecular weight, solids phase flexibilizer that will not migrate from the sheet and gives Stevens EV its superior physical properties, appearance and color after installation and years of exposure to the elements. Stevens EV is ideally suited for new and re-roofing applications. The membrane comes in standard thickness of 45-, 50-, 60- and 80-mil (1.14-, 1.27-, 1.52-, 2-mm).  Stevens EV® is packaged in standard rolls that are 76.5-in. wide X 100-feet long (1.9m wide x 30m long). Also available are 38.25" (0.97m) wide rolls for perimeter enhancement and 76.5" (1.9m) wide rolls in custom lengths (over 100', 30m)) to maximize construction quality and productivity.

Quality Assurance and Installation Methods
Stevens EV® membranes meet ASTM D 4434 – 04, Standard Specification for PolyVinyl Chloride Sheet Roofing*.  In addition, Stevens EV® membranes are manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility. Highly durable and flexible Stevens EV® can be installed using a wide variety of assembly options:

  • Mechanically Attached
  • Fully Adhered – EV and EV with Fleece Backing
  • EV with Fleece Backing Adhered in Hot Asphalt
  • GardenTop™ Roof System
  • Stone Ballasted
  • Paver Ballasted
  • Vented Roofing System (VRS)

In addition, Stevens EV® membrane remains hot-air weldable throughout its life.  If new equipment is later added to the roof or other alterations are made, the Stevens EV® membrane can be cut, repaired and easily re-welded by an Dow Roofing Systems Authorized Applicator.

Meets UL & FM Requirements
Mechanically attached Stevens EV® has achieved Factory Mutual Global Windstorm Classification Ratings up to 1-195 and is UL Class A and B listed on both combustible and non-combustible roof decks. Please consult the current FMG and UL Approval Guides for a complete description of all approved assemblies.

Superior Chemical Resistance
Stevens EV® with Elvaloy® HP resists many chemicals and substances that quickly degrade other roofing materials such as animal fats, jet fuel, compressor oil and hexane.

Domestic Warranty Options
Dow Roofing Systems offers warranties on successfully completed roofs installed by a Dow Roofing Systems Authorized Applicator. These warranties range in scope from coverage of the materials only to that of the entire system assembly for a time of 5 years up to, for some systems, 20 years.

*ASTM 4434-04 mandates that product thickness be a minimum of 0.45. Our nominal 45 mil product falls slightly below this requirement. However, we now offer a 50 mil Elvaloy membrane to exceed the aforementioned criteria.
