The Stevens Cap is a snap-on parapet wall cap designed for attachment to either treated wood nailers or directly over masonry or concrete walls. This system is custom fabricated to meet exact job requirements and includes a unique, stainless steel spring compression cleat system that ensures positive attachment. In addition, the system includes 8-in. (20.3-cm) wide concealed splice plates with dual non-curing sealant strips for watertight installation.

Components of the system include:

• 12-ft. (3.66 m) lengths of snap-on coping supplied in 24-gauge galvanized steel or aluminum in gauges of 0.040-, 0.050-, 0.063- and 0.080-in. (1.02-, 1.27-, 1.60-, and 2.03-mm), without horizontal break lines. Extenders also available.

• 1 5/8-in. (4.2 cm) corrosion resistant hex head fasteners with neoprene gaskets.

• 12-in. (30.5 cm) wide, 20-ga. galvanized steel anchor clips (4-ft. o.c.) with factory attached, hardened stainless steel springs.

• Stevens Cap is FM approved and when properly installed, the system can provide up to 168 lbs. of resistance following the ANSI/SPRI RE-3 test for coping systems

Stevens Cap is available in flat or tapered configurations and with a full compliment of coping miters from standard 90 degree corners to transition and radius configurations, and in the same broad selection of architectural colors as other Stevens Edge Systems.
