The Dow DeckGrip (#15) Fastener & (2-3/8-inch) Plate is a pre-assembled unit comprised of a #15 fastener with a modified standard thread, #3 Phillips head recess, and corrosion-resistant coating, and a 20 gauge Galvalume†-coated, steel seam plate featuring a patented EyeHook‡ design (rather than barbs in the bottom of the plate). This design enables the fastener and plate to resist high wind loads without cutting or initiating tears in the membrane.
This fastener and plate can be used on approved substrates, such as wood, structural concrete (pre-drilling is required) and 26 to 18 gauge (0.55 mm to 1.3 mm) steel decks. For use exclusively with VIENTO™ PVC membranes.
