The Dow Pre-Assembled Insulation Fastener (PIF) combines a #12 fastener with a #3 Phillips head and a 3" (76.2 mm) locking plastic plate. It is used to mechanically attach roof insulation from Dow Roofing Systems to approved substrates, such as wood and 18 to 26 gauge (1.3 mm – 0.55 mm) steel decks.
