The Dow 2000 Pre-Assembled Insulation Fastener (PIF) combines a Dow 2000 #12 Fastener with a #3 Phillips head, a special thread, and corrosion-resistant coating and a 3" (76.2 mm) high-strength polypropylene plate with a special locking feature. It is used to mechanically attach roof insulation from Dow Roofing Systems to approved substrates, such as wood and 18 to 26 gauge (1.3 mm – 0.55 mm) steel decks.
This fastener should not be used over dense substrates, such as gypsum or high-density wood fiber. For use exclusively with TIEMPO™+ 2000 TPO membranes.
