TERMICO™ ISO 3000 Insulation features a high-performance polyisocyanurate foam core with heavy-duty coated-glass facers for enhanced durability and dimensional stability. Available in compressive strengths of 20 psi and 25 psi, it is specifically designed for cold-applied BUR, cold-applied modified bitumen and single-ply roofing membrane systems and is compatible with all TIEMPO™+ 2000 TPO and VIENTO™ PVC membranes. Not for use with hot asphalt or coal tar pitch.
Building Code Compliance
Complies with ASTM C1289 Type II, Class 2. Meets IBC/IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation and Miami-Dade County and California State insulation quality standards. FM specification tested.

(2) R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value or RSI (R-Value Système International), the greater the insulating power. R-values are expressed in ft2•h•°F/Btu. RSI values are expressed in m2° C/W. R-value determined by ASTM C518. (3) Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation (5% for STYROFOAM™ Brand PLAZAMATE™ Insulation and for STYROFOAM™ Brand HIGHLOAD 40, 60 and 100 Insulation products) or at yield, whichever occurs first. Since STYROFOAM™ Brand Extruded Polystyrene Foam and Dow polyisocyanurate insulation products are visco-elastic materials, adequate design safety factors should be used to prevent long-term creep. For static loads, 3:1 is suggested. For dynamic loads, 5:1 is suggested. |
