With a Stone or Paver Ballasted Roofing System from Dow Roofing Systems, the sky's the limit for efficient low-slope roof designs. The TIEMPO™+ 2000 TPO and VIENTO™ PVC roofing membranes featured in the roofing system provides durability and longevity for ballasted roof designs in conventional and protected membrane roof (PMR) applications, including vegetative roofs and plaza decks.
Ballasted roofing systems are an excellent choice when:

Large roof areas need to be covered quickly

The structural system of the building is capable of holding heavy loads, such as pavers, stone, soil and plantings, without collapsing

A PMR assembly is used where the membrane is installed under the insulation

A vegetative or "green" roof installation is used, as the growing medium can help keep the roof in place

A plaza deck is specified since pavers provide the weight to keep the membrane in place
